Until the end of 2008, TAAL’s offices were located on Dlouha street, Old Town, in the very centre of Prague – an address well-known by our long-standing clients.
There were several reasons for the change of address. One of the key reasons was the fact that the central location was no longer considered acceptable by our clients and made the provision of our services impossible. Poor accessibility, the difficulty of driving through the city, constant traffic jams between the airport and the city centre and problems with parking in the Old Town led us to make the decision to move.
Since December 2008, we have been based in a calm locality in Dejvice, Prague 6, reachable in 15 minutes by car from Ruzyne Airport, 15 minutes by bus from Prague Castle, 10 minutes’ walk from Dejvicka metro station, or 15 minutes with bus number 131 from Hradcanska metro station.
Travelling to our office from the Dutch Embassy in Prague 6 – Bubenec? Then you are only a few bus stops (bus 131 to Borislavka) or a five-minute drive away.
If you are flying to Prague, then we will be pleased to collect you at the airport.
Parking a car in front of our office is not a problem, an unheard-of advantage in the capital cities of today.
Our location is also particularly notable if you are interested in modern architecture. The villa where our office is located is part of the “Baba” settlement, a complex of buildings preserved from the 1930’s. It is a unique set of buildings from the Functionalist era, the time of architects such as Le Corbusier, Adolf Loos and Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. You can see villas designed by Czech architects Pavel Janak, Josef Gocar, Ladislav Zak and others. To view some of them, please go to our Gallery.
